Totally Random and a Little Bit Funny

This morning while I was out "on assignment", I took a picture of my daughter giving me a silly face through my upstairs neighbor's window.

After uploading the photos, and playing around with them a little bit, I noticed what looked like dog slobber on the photo of my neighbor's window. They just got a dog last week, so it was completely understandable.

My neighbor is an awesome person, and an artist, so I knew rather than take offense, she would get a kick out of the fact that I cropped in on, and artified her doggy slobber.

I got really excited and went up to show her the finished product, and noticed...not dog slobber, but fake, rubbery-blood, window clings. I was a little disappointed...I thought I was on to something...oh well...I still may be. Do you think there would be much of an interest in Slobber Art? Haha.

Quote of the day - The artist's world is limitless. It can be found anywhere, far from where he lives or a few feet away. It is always on his doorstep. - Paul Strand

Dear Kelly-I just love what you did with that last picture-it looks eirie, interesting and beautiful all at once (no small feat!!)...I can totally understand your sentiment about voicing our stories..I think (if we speak our truth)...there is the whole range of human emotions. What i do is write my feelings out uncensored in my journal but only selectively write things on my blog. When I first started my blog...I made the decision to be authentic and honest...but that doesn't mean sharing everything. The choice is yours...but I think you are on the right track. hugs xxx
