1st and Ten (or more)

I've mentioned this before, but I have to tell you again. I'm not a scrapbooker, but one of my favorite things is the holiday book I made for each one of my kiddos.
It's just four holidays in the year, what I call the dress up holidays...Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas. Each book starts with their first holiday...for Madison it was Halloween, Macy - Fourth of July, and Griffin - Christmas.
It's a little book, with only one photo on a page. It is so fun, and amazing to look back on, and see how much they've grown, and they love looking at them too...especially remembering what they were for Halloween each year.
I was going to just add the first ten years, but Madison is eleven now, and I don't want to stop...so here we go. I think I'll keep doing it as long as they'll let me!
I hope everyone had a fun Halloween! Griffin caught on this year, which means now I have to share his candy...darn!
P.S. Don't blink!

Dear Kelly-this is such a wonderful idea-I am going to steal it! Your little one looks adorable...then and now!
From a few [posts down...Sorry you are going through a rough time...you didn't go into too much details but...you ARE valuable. Your words, photos, vision and ...just the way only YOU can see things...it matters, it counts and it is necessary. So don't stop...sometimes we just need to be kind to ourSELVES.
Yes...hard to believe this is my very first pumpkin carving! I grew up in South Africa and never even heard of Halloween until we moved to Canada...I was 12 at the time. So I dressed up a few times but it was never a part of our lives. Now that i have Tara...its' just so fun for me!! Hope you all had a great Halloween! Sending you hugs and thanks for the kind words on my blog! xxx
