Bits and Pieces

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs
I haven't had much computer time lately. My boy has been kind of out of sorts. I'm not sure why. I suspect he may be getting sick.
'Tis the season.
Griffin doesn't have school on Wednesdays, so yesterday after we wrestled through a haircut, we went to the park to bust loose a little bit.
(Thank you sunshine for busting loose yourself, and sticking around for longer than 20 minutes.)
Today, for some reason, he didn't want to go to school. He had a fit right at the entrance, so I took him home. That's really not like him at all. He loves school.
The highlights of the day, so far, have been eating oreos, and watching the squirrels jump outside.
I'm glad I'm here right now...home, that is...home for my boy when he needs me.
By the grace of God, life is simple...even when it's hard.
