There's a Kind of Hush

There is something about today...

I don't know what it is, but it just feels calm.

Maybe it's the way that it's cold outside, but not too cold, or the way that it's sunny, but not too sunny.

Or, maybe it's the soft flutter and rustle of the leaves, filling in for the sounds of weekday traffic and lawn mowers.

I don't know...but I like it.

It's bike riding, relaxing, and grocery shopping for us today...and falling behind tonight (Yay! An extra hour of sleep!).

Dear Kelly-I am so glad you had a calm and wonderful weekend. Your pics speak volumes..just looking at them actually soothes me:) And I love you quote..am going to write it down in my journal.
