What is that a picture of you ask? It's my downward view from the Goo Goo Dolls concert. It's the rail! Front and (almost) center...Yee Haw!! It was a great show. I have always liked the band, but I like them even more now after seeing them live. They seem to really enjoy what they do, and that's fun to watch! My friend Carolyn had an extra ticket, and invited me to go with her. She is a huge fan, a "fanatic", or what I call, a Goopy (Goo + groupy = Goopy). It was great to share the experience with her...even though I had to stand in line for four hours in the freezing cold, hold all of her stuff while she went to meet the band, follow a tour bus against my will, and get home at 4:00 in the morning. I am only slightly bitter she didn't give me one of the two guitar picks that John tossed our way. (note: when dealing with a Goopy, if you see a guitar pick on the ground, don't point first, instead bend and grab quickly!) But sarcasm aside, it was great to see my friend having one of the most memorable nights of her life.
(sorry about the blur...can't expect too much from a camera held together with tape)
The next day, I got to share another memorable event with another friend. Michelle's wedding shower was beautiful! I am so happy for her. Good times or bad, I'm so lucky to have friends to share them with. Below is a picture of Carolyn's license plate, and something I wish for all of my friends, especially those having a rough time right now. Your day will come, and when it does I hope I'm there to hold your stuff!

Quote of the day - Everything happens for a reason and if you stand right where you are now, and you look down and back to everything, to all the events that lead up to you sitting in this room right now with me you'll see where the order is and where you are right now is pretty amazing. Where we all are, where I am right now is amazing. - Johnny Rzeznik
